The Sex Education Africa Project (S.E.A.P) is the non-profit arm of Lighthearts Consulting that is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for learning about healthy sexual practices and supporting sexual abuse survivors through therapy.
Our foundation works with schools, religious institutions, and local communities to prevent sexual abuse, addiction, and perversion. We provide comprehensive sexuality education, training, and resources that promote the emotional and physical well-being of children and teenagers, especially those in underserved communities, ensuring they have access to the support they need to thrive emotionally and mentally.
To build an emotionally intelligent society where children and adults live with self-awareness, compassion, and balance.
To make emotional wellness accessible to all through therapy, education, and support systems that inspire healing, foster growth, and empower people to live fulfilling lives.
Our approach to addressing the emotional and physical health of children and teenagers is centred on providing comprehensive education, support and resources. We focus on the following key components:
We conduct advocacy visits to schools, religious organizations and local communities to sensitize stakeholders on the need for sex education as well as appropriate techniques to teach children on the subject.
We provide training for stakeholders such as teachers, religious leaders, and parents on age-appropriate sex education instruction as well as support mechanisms for survivors of sexual abuse.
We offer counseling services for survivors of sexual abuse and their handlers. Our team is well-equipped to deal with neuro-typical children and adults.
We distribute sex education materials to provide a comprehensive support system for children and teenagers.
Our mission is to ensure that no child is left unseen and unsupported. Together, we raise a generation free of family trauma, healed and ready to thrive.
